Postal treasure

I   love getting mail like today -  5  different packages all with  fabulous  finds in them.
1.  A  beautiful card  from my  lovely  friend Leanne  at madaboutscrappin.com.au - she sent  me a  beautiful card and some  gorgeous  treasures inside - she knows me so well!!!
  2.  A cool  new  Spellbinders   nestabilities doodad.
 3.  My  pink  swap with the challenge  chicks.
4.  My  gorgeous  Kaiser  rubons  from Vic - thanks  Vic - Excellent!!
5.  A cool  little pack  from Amanda at Outofthe hat blog challenge  for  giving one of the August  criterion
6.  and finally  my  stunning pack of  goodies  from Susan Longman- I won the  draw  at Scrap the boys and I am so in love  with the stuff  I got - A  1964  Miss Tasmania  beauty  quest  ticket!!  Who knows maybe  I will win!!!!!  LOL

Wahoo-  be  expecting  some  creative goodness from  that  lot!!!

Hi all

I have been  busy  this weekend - after a few  days  of  uninspired  mojo - It kicked in on Friday  ....Yay - a couple of challenges. This  is  for enchanted scrapbooking  - you had to  scrap an indulgence and mine is certainly  chocolate - so I made the page and then had to hunt for a  cool  vintage   chocolate pic  that  suited !  Yikes - not the the BEST  way to do it!!

And then I  had to  do a layout   about  celebrations and  with the colour   Gold  in it....hmmmmmm . Uninspired for  a while....and  then  I came up with this

Lets get shabby new challenge

This is fast becoming  one of my favourite  blogs....Lets get shabby.  This challenge required  predominantly  white  with  a touch of one  colour - and  obviously I have   selected  brown.  I did this  at 1am in  the  mornning...Two of my  gorgeous  challenge  chic  girls!!!  Thanks  for looking!!

Scrap the boys August entry

I love the Scrap the boys  blog  challenge and have  entered   every  month   since I  discovered it.....This months   criterion  were  a  doozy!  A  picture of boys  with  food and   some  reference to cooking  in your  title....Hmmmmmm.  I  had a play  on Picnik  with a   gorgeous  photos  of my eldest  son  eating a  strawberry  on the  weekend  and  this  was  the  result...Hope you like  it......

Scrap day at my place

So yesterday 10 of us scrappin girls got together at my place for a cool scrap day- lots of food , chat , fun and even some scrappin. I just love those days - here is a couple of the bits I got done....

Theres nothing shabby about these girls!!!

This is my take on the Lets get shabby challenge this month - gingham and florals Oh yay!! I had this beautiful photo of all the girls at Rockhampton so wanted to do this layout - the black and white gingham is actually fabric so I frayed the edges and used some beautiful large lace and gathered it in a bling heart and added some lovely lace and beaded bling in the corner...there is also a lovely vintage hairclip on the left side.....Love these girls to pieces!!!

Mad about scrappin ......

As you know I do design work for the gorgeous Leanne at Mad about scrappin and she came down on MOnday to give me some great boy papers to play with and of course - I was all inspired so have done them all ready....I am in the process of doing a card too.....She does GREAT kits so pop in and have a alook....and I am also doing some vintage classes for her in September - they kits have already sold out !!!
