I am such a lucky girl to work with Twiddleybitz - they are  such a superior brand of chipboard - I have worked with lots of others but Twiddleybitz is  by far the best quality!!  I recently  received a  big package of goodies  from them  after the Brisbane paper show so I have had a lovely time  playing with all the new stuff  ...here is one of the layouts I did recently.....

Out of the Hat challenge.....

Wow - I havent managed to do an Out of the Hat challenge for probably  a year - but on the weekend I got  to scrap and I had some  friends over on Saturday night and  we  scrapped and chatted and laughed and I even managed to  get   four or five layouts done!!  Man - Im on a roll, I tell you!!   Lucky - I am for now - because I have started a  second job just for the next few months and that  is getting busier!!
So the  challenge  was  minimalist ( neg space) , monochromatic and use a  doily!!  I can  do that!!

Scrapped up a storm....

I  actually got to do quite a bit of scrapping done this weekend considering  how busy I was with no hubby and the kids having parties, sleepovers, friends staying and more parties....I  REALLY AM  just a taxi these days!!  I did lots  but  quite a bit I cant show as its  DT  stuff or  Twiddleybitz  stuff for their Brisbane Show in September......but maybe I can give you a  few sneak peeks!!!

These  sneaks are from the  new August  kits I did for Jules.  As you  probably  know  Ness  sold Scrap with V to Jules and she   sent out her first lot of kits.  I gave her some informaton about me and the family and what I scrap and she sent me the perfect  kit - I LOVED it.  So as soon as it arrived  I  was into it!!!
The fabulous thing for me was that it was a boyish kits and not for little boys - PERFECT  for  preteens, teens - you know - that   hard to  scrap  age group!!!

Cybercrop at scrap boutique....

I havent  done a cyber crop in AGES -  once upon a time I was known to do  two or three across a weekend.  BUT  this weekend is mine as hubby is away and  the kids are  being gorgeous  so I can get some scrapping done!!
I saw that Scrap boutique had a birthday cybercrop this weekend so I thought Id check out the challenges and I even managed to complete one late last night!  This is my lovely NUmber 2 son - Lachlan - clever as can be and an absolute sweetheart.  His birthday is just over a week away so I did this layout of him....

Some handmade gifts....

August is  a massive  month for birthdays for us - My sister, My aunt, My Mum, My niece and my son all have  EARLY August birthdays!!  SO  I decided  to get organised and make some gifts  - obvioucly I cant show them all yet ( cos they will  see them on here!!) but I couldnt resist  showing you this  lovely  tin I  made up for my niece Amy .  She will be 7 on the 7th August  so I wanted to make her something special .  I have bought a pretty  little necklace to go in the tin....here is  her   AMY tin

High tea party!!!

Teleah has  the best  time in her own company - she is amazing at   keeping herself busy and amused.  One of her games is to  make a tea party for the  babies of the house and she  uses a  toy china  tea set we bought  for her last year - she LOVES it .  I still have mine from when I was a kid so I hope she takes as much  care of hers.  I have used  lots of the new Twiddleybitz  chipboard = and  I just love the teapot and  teacup!!! 
I did this layout  for a colour challenge at Mad  but I suspect I have used too much of a teal  colour  instead of a green??
We are  off to the cinema all together this afternoon to see Harry Potter - the final instalment - a bit sad really .  We started watching them  when  Josh was a wee babe  13  years ago!!!  I cant wait!

Kraft it up - dad time

Here is my entry for Kraft it up this month - I loved the colours  although I have probably used  darker  shades than the original pic?? 

My husband and Daughter have  a  beautiful  relationship- I  just love  seeing them together!!!

Tic Toc Grandpa and Twiddleybitz!!!

My Mums Grandfather was always  known as Tictoc Grandpa as he had a  fob watch in his pocket always!
So of course I couldnt resist using BoBunny timepiece for this  photo - its just suited perfectly.  I have also added  some  yummy Twiddleybitz  flourishes.....

I WISH I had that fob watch!!  What a treasure that would be!!

In an uproar......

Back in March - I was lucky enough to attend a retreat here on The Gold Coast  with LOADS of my  favourite girls from around Australia!!! Dalena had  already closed Uproar - her scrapbook shop but we had an absolute ball and as always I stayed up too late !!  HAHA - what would  I be without an all nighter at a retreat!!
Anyway you can imagine - we had one hundred cameras snapping and I loved some of the pics that were taken.  Fabulous Sharon Dalton took all our   photos and  loaded them onto CD for us so we all had a copy of everything!!  She is just too sweet for words. 
ANYWAY - that means I have loads of pics ad I wanted to incorporate some of the lovely photos I had of some of the girls and  make this layout - using  more gorgeous Graphic 45 - seriously  LOVE those papers!!!

So bits and pieces of Twiddleybitz here and   a mix of G45  and some  beautiful women!!!

This is my Family ...

I have a  container on my desk and in it is  the bits and pieces of Twiddleybitz  that I have and everyone so  often  I have  rifle through there and see what inspires me!!  This week I have  had  some time to scrap  because I  am on holidays!!  I love the Twiddleybitz  flourishes  I have used here and I have kept them raw  because I thought they suited  the colours of the  layout...I also grabbed one of the frames from the Twiddleybitz  keys and I have  used it as a frame for my photo...Gotta  love being able to use your packaging!!!

White with One - July entry!!

Wowser - since starting back at work at the beginning of this year, I have not scrapped much AT ALL in the way of challenges.  I have  made my DT  commitments and little else....so I am enjoying  the  school holidays and being  sick enough  to not  go out!!  ( Much to the kids disgust!)   BUT it is giving me the chance to  do some  fun scrapping....loving  getting  painted and messy and  digging through my stash to find the right BIT.
I had a look at White with one and saw the  challenge  this month was white , teal and chipboard !!  OHYEAH  baby - they had me  at Hello ( read Teal!!)   I even knew what pics I was going to use  because the pics are the same  colours!!!!

This is my  daughter under the water at Mooloolaba  back in March!!  So cool having a  GOOD underwater camera

JUMP for Twiddleybitz

I feel incredibly  lucky to have a DT gig  for a manufacturing company and  Twiddleybitz  stuff I loved  before I joined the team!!  It is SO well made - no  nasty bits to file down and  sand  and clean up - its  beautifully cut and  you can  paint it, sand it , emboss it - and it  loves it!!!

I have  been enjoying the school holidays apart from the fact that I am sick a a dog - I  have  actually  felt like scrapping!!  So here is one I did of my  gorgeous boy Lachlan who will soon be TWELVE!!!  I cant believe it

I also  purchased the cool ALL BOY !  pin at the Brisbane papercraft show off Tracey at My2angels

She seriously has the best range of charms and pins and funky bits  for your layout!!!  I bought some stuff from her this week but  I will be going back when Im cashed up!!!

I am changing around my scrap room and found this - it used to hang on my wall so now its going in an album and Ill put a new one up!
