I have been working furiously on class layouts for my Local scrapbook shop - and Im really happy with them - but they arent until September!!! FUnny- cos by the time I come to teach them Ive almost forgotten which layout it is!! So tonight is movie night with the family so will be popping in and out....

I am off on an aeroplane today - over to Perth to catch up with my beautiful Aunt who is turning 60 - she has been battling cancer for the last 8 years so I am so excited to be able to see her!. And I even get to meet some of my favourite online girls - On Saturday morning at the fabulous Hilarys - I can wait to meet them and give them hugs and kisses and the cameras will be going NUTS!!!

ALSO- I only need two more followers and I hit 80 - so if you arent following my blog already - join in and you will be in the running for a cool RAK!!!!!

Next week when I get back from Perth I will be ready to load my August kits and to announce my July winner - so stay tuned for that .

I spent most of FRiday doing some classes for my Local Scrap Shop - The Scrapbook Cupboard using the new Kaiser Penny ROyale - they are WAY nicer in real life and I made three layouts so if you look on the August schedule - theyll be there....

Songbird scraps entry for July....

My friend Skye runs the cool blog challenge Songbird scraps so I try to enter each month - The Great thing is she picks GREAT songs and lyrics so there is usually something I can use!!! I picked Mint Car by the CURE and did a layout of Shane and I - seriously LOVE that man!! Even after 20 years - sick isnt it!!!! Used gorgeous Que Sera apper from K and Co...and lots of bits of lace and Raks and bits and some divine Prima flowers....TFL - Winners to be drawn soonish - or maybe tomorrow morning - So dont forget - to be a follower!!

Okay - so I got a scrap bug last night and did this layout for amandas Out of the Hat blog challenge...monochromotic, felt and haberdashery...I used a brown palette and included a zipper and a gorgeous piece of embroidery which I think came of an old bra - I picked it up at an Op shop....

Scrap the Boys !!

Every month they manage to do it - come up with some cool new concept that makes me say I wanna do that one....so here we are. The challenge was to be inspired by the quote " Real men dont each quiche" so scrap somehting a bit feminine about your boys - liking pink, flowers, etc I had these photos of Teleah doing the boys hair a couple of months back and thought they fit the bill perfectly.....I used gorgeous Making Memories 5th avenue papers.....

First cybercrop layout....

Okay this is the example for my challenge - the challenge was to use items starting with L I S and A - so I used lacpaper, Licorice cardstock, ink and I title, Spotted paper and Star paper ( paper I got from Star!!) and acrylic tag....

This was a sketch challenge over at the challenge chics set by the fabulous Debs!! I think it was the one published in the last Scrapbooking Memories magazine...anyay I have used My minds Eye papers =- flea market - just love em...made some distressed flowers- love them but hate the mess I end up wearing!! I MUST go and shop I am out of teabags - desperate measures!!!
