Uproar2 scrapmore have a monthly scraplift and this months was a take on a crocodile card from the very clever loobylou - this is my scraplift - taking the croc theme obviously - I love these colours together and I have used flywire - can you see it??

When we went to the retreat we needed to make a souvenir for the organisers of the retreat - i made a cute little button layered piece - which I then loved and had to give away! So last night I made one for me - here it is ...


and then here is my Poppet challenge for Debs creations - we had to do Poppets and tell a story so ours is our move To Queensland!!


We have visitors coming tonight so need to tidy up and make some stuff and pick up Lachlan from school camp!!

I am catching up on some stuff so here are some of my latest layouts - the first is a chinese whisper and the second is for the cybercrop at Scrap of Difference this weeekend - I had to set the colour challenge - Good fun!!

First for today...

Okay this i did for Lexies challenge on Debs Creations - only 5 produucts - I use PP from my scraps, bling, flowers buttons and chipboard. The photo I played with in Picnik - Love that program!!! I have done another layout also but its a secret for a week more....will reveal all soon!!!

Wahoo- a day for me

The kids are at school, P is at creche - I have vacced the floors and tidied the house and I feel like scrappin - just for me - not for challenges, or for Dts or for anyone else - just for me!! Yay !!
Josh comes home from school camp today and we have all missed him - although the house has been quieter and LESS fighting - there always is when one goes missing but it will so nice to have him home - I am expecting a weekend full of stories and excitement as he recounts all his adventures.
I am reading TWILIGHT - didnt like to movie - dodgy version - but am totally sucked into the book - Gunna read a bit today!!!
Okay - off to make a cuppa and do some STUFF - will upload later and show !!

Last round for Uproar Wipeout...

Okay so through a few default dropouts along the way - I have made it to the last round of Wipeout - so it is between Wendy and I . I was really happy with my layout until I saw how Fab Wendys is!!! SO here is my entry and we will see how we go!!

I have returned from the fabulous Scrap retreat - so much fun and so much scrappin !! I didnt go to bed the first night - Star and I stayed up ALL night - we are true dedicated scrappers!!!!

Yesterdays work!!!

So yesterday was a very busy day but i did manage to squeeze 2 layouts out....one for the next round of Wipeout - at Uproar -the criterion are scallops, beading, stitching and four colours - my four colours are pink, brown cream and white.
I also managed to do Amandas Out of the Hat challege for March - for that you had to use diecuts, yellow and a black and white photos - also lending itself perfectly for my current love of vintage!!!

123 challenge entry for March

I am on the creative team for 123 challenge - a cool challenge blog and this months criterion are autumn colours - browns oranges amd yellows, make your own flowers and texture so I have punched flowers from an old book and scrap cardstock, and my texture comes from a book page and plumbers mesh and leaves....TFL

Look what I got!!!

Okay so Amanda from over at Uproar has posted a number of us a little RAK challenge - she has sent some very cute items - Love em!! and I have to make a card with them - using some of all the items. The most comical part to this is that one piece - the heart pin - fell off my lap and Yes of course landed into the bin - NOT an empty bin mind you my scrapbook bin- full of scraps of paper, double sided tape backing, crap crap and crap So I have just spent a full 10 minutes rilfing through the bin to no avail!. So now I am going to have to take it outside to the big bin and pull it apart piece by piece !!! Some days I just love my life!!! Grrrr .....
